What to Expect at the Louisville Pumpkin Event I recommended that you go to the bathroom before you enter the park. There are restrooms/port-a-potties available three times during the event. Weekends and promo nights are the heaviest with traffic and long wait times. You’ll enter at your timed admission ticket time and you may wait up to 45 minutes. How long is the wait for Jack O’Lantern Spectacular? Ticket prices are $20 for guests age 13 and up, $15 for children 3-12 years old. Tickets for 2021 are available online and in-person when not sold out. Guests are advised to purchase their tickets in advance on the website for a timed entry. Jack O’Lantern Spectacular is one of a series of three shows that take place in other areas of the country. This year, the walking trail has returned! This popular Halloween event takes place along the walking trails at Iroquois Park in Louisville (just about a two-hour road trip from Indianapolis), but last year, the annual fundraiser for the Louisville Parks Foundation was a drive-thru Halloween event. With our favorite Christmas lights drive-thru light show coming up, we had to check out the Halloween one! Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular Pumpkin Event Both are truly beautiful but they are very similar in some ways and unique in others. I’m guessing that much of the inspiration for the Newfields Harvest Nights came from the Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular pumpkin event.
